Sorting and Filtering are relatively simple tools at their face. However, you can create custom filters that enable you to paste the results in another location. Therefore your initial data stays intact, yet you can analyze the specific items you wish to use.
Data Validation
Other tools enable you to restrict the type of data entered into the spreadsheet to begin with. You can permit specific values, as well as create personalized error alerts when data entry doesn’t match your criteria.
